Fox News | Ralph Nader asks of President elect Barack Obama Uncle Sam or Uncle Tom?

Do you think Nader's comments hold any weight? Do you have any concerns regarding President Elect Obama's policies?

He’s now and probably always has been irrelevant. It’s cool to be a spoiler, but that’s about as far as he will ever get. Anyone who runs for president in a capitalist country and wins will have to deal with big money and major corporations. Even if Ralph were to win he would have to deal with a war budget. The majority of African Americans don’t think he will be an Uncle Tom, if we did, he wouldn’t have received our vote.
“100 million poor?”
Most African Americans aren’t poor. Even the ones who think they are poor have cable TV, 100 dollar sneakers, computers, IPods and nice cars etc.... Like the Bush and McCainites, Nader too is now a dinosaur. The Uncle Tom is Jesse one who want’s in after he said he wanted to “cut out his (Obamas) testicles”, but that’s another story. I understand the need for another party but I’m not going to back someone who is going to always loose in advance.

Well..... He may have been trying to make a good point choice but poor poor choice of words. PRESIDENT OBAMA could have gave his sorry ass a job if he really wanted to help. Now he can just sit there in there and complain for the rest his life and not help any poor people if that is what he really wanted to do. Fox news is guilty to though they knew what they were doing by perpetuating that comment. Bitch ass looser maafuckers.

His words were sharp, but no more than any that could come out of a brother or sister's mouth. But the question lost by the reporter were whether they were true and just acted as an attach dog for a ribbon.

I think Nader is making good points. Nader is a man that looks out for people and he knows the political power of corporate money and how that buries the every day man's concerns. Every President is expected to serve the people, but politics is a delicate balance of gaining corporate support to meet those objectives. Obama has a job ahead of him to strike the balance between People and Power. Unfairly, people will expect more from Obama than they did from Bush. This reporter is a clown, trying to seem all high and mighty and PC. Too bad the media trounced the question before Obama had a response.
