CoDM in Multimedia is a Cutting-Edge Program that Puts the Subject of the Black Male Image On Stage - By sharing images, film, text and music that illustrate the complexities of life as a black male in America and beyond, this multimedia program is designed to encourage discourse on the subject of the black male image.

CoDM in Multimedia brings together diverse visual and performing artists whose work seeks to impact public perception of black men and reposition how black men are viewed.

CoDM in Multimedia will feature the musical impresario, King Britt, who will improvise to films by notable photographer/filmmakers Larry Cook, Rashid Johnson, Alexis Peskine, and Jefferson Pinder, with narrations by nationally acclaimed poet, Major Jackson.

AND a musical performance by DC's own The Cornel West Theory.

Your support will help bring together this impressive group of musicians, filmmakers, and poets for a one night performance at The Lincoln Theatre on December 12, 2014 that is FREE and open to the public. The Lincoln Theater is located at 1215 U St NW, Washington, DC 20009
