Surrounded by Calypso music in her native islands of St. Kitts-Nevis, Wendy studied classical piano and dreamed of Rock, Soul & Afro-beat. Her debut reflects this rhythmic fusion and narrates the life she saved; her own. Compared to Earth Kitt, Mariah Carey & Tina Turner.

In 2004, Wendy and her friends created HHEY (Helping Healing and Educating Youths of St. Kitts-Nevis). Proceeds from her debut album "Woman Empowered" supports the foundation.

Blessings to you and yours. I hope this finds you in good health and spirits. What a time to be alive to witness this moment in not only American history, but the history of the world. It is a humbling and reverent experience to participate in this historic event. In St. Kitts it is a common thing to elect black Prime Ministers, as they are called there. However, the effect of the American experience is not lost on any of us.
